I feel as if I need to do whatever I can in order to succeed in life and be happy.  If that means make sure I have no regrets, I agree.  So with that in mind, I think I am ready to hang out with Lucy like my pops.

Ya know

I really do try for my friends. The people I actually care about I put my effort in to make sure they are happy. I am not trying to be a bragger saying how I am an amazing friend, because I know I have had times where I have betrayed people’s confidence, but the people I care about, I put in the effort.

Weird story of how this thought came about. Well I was looking for a friends blog (iamthefounder) great blog btw, check it out. I saw a picture a friend posted that I had liked, it was a bouquet of roses I had gotten for a girl who I was in love with. Now you might be thinking, how does love have to do with friendship. Well I didn’t get her the roses because I loved her, I did because she was sick and thought they would help. They did. This was about 9 months ago now, and things have changed in our relationship but to be honest, that’s not what this post is about. It’s about my appreciation for my friends.

Today Sheikh was brought up in a conversation. He is one of my closest friends here at UCF and is an amazing dude from Bangladesh. Him and I can talk for ours about our friendship. Like the status of it. I cannot do that with most people. When I do that with sheikh, it comes easy and there is never a negative thing said. I appreciate that in life. His roommate Craig let me sleep in his bed today because I had a headache. Craig is from Dubai and has become one of my closest friends. This kind of college brotherhood is something I appreciate.
